Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom
The Northeast Kingdom is the state's most beautiful and undeveloped region. It is home to two major ski areas, some of the best mountain biking trails in the world, quaint and historic towns, many lakes, rivers, fantastic hiking trails, and is easily accessible from a number of international airports. St. Johnsbury is the economic and cultural hub of the area, and home to many shops, restaurants, movie theaters, galleries, and other attractions. Many faculty are long-time residents of the area and are happy to introduce the Kingdom to students and their families.
