The St. Johnsbury Academy Faculty Speaker Series welcomes Matt Snyder Executive Vice President of Sales for Vivoom, a technology company servicing the music, television and advertising industries, based in Boston, MA. The talk will take place on Monday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Mayo Center.
Matt Snyder's talk will center on his career as an entrepreneur , which has blended his passion for innovation and entertainment with his work in technology and advertising. A man whose adventures have taken him around the world to 45 countries (most recently in Cuba on the last day of Fidel Castro's life), who has sold a TV show to 20th Century Fox with his best friend from high school, and who has launched several start-up companies, Snyder's talk will help audience members see that it is possible to follow your dreams and make a living at it.
Matt Snyder is Executive Vice President of Sales for Vivoom, a technology company that enables bands, brands and TV networks connect with their audiences through the power of social media. With clients like Maroon 5, the Boston Celtics, NBC Universal, XBox and Univision, Matt will share insights into how SnapChat, Twitter and Facebook have changed how these companies talk to their audiences. Rooted in a passion for disruption, music and marketing, Matt's career as an entrepreneur and technology executive has spanned nearly 20 years of work with start ups and Fortune 500 companies alike. He is a frequent speaker at advertising and technology conferences and guest lecturer at the Berklee College of Music. Matt lives in the greater Boston area with his beautiful daughter Emerson and his ugly dog, Yoda.
