St. Johnsbury Academy seeks to enroll independent, reflective learners who are compassionate towards others, passionate about learning, and interested in becoming part of something bigger than themselves. In the space that follows, use one of the prompts below to write a short essay of approximately 250 words that tells us something meaningful about yourself.
(1) Among the beliefs we have at the Academy, two important ones stand out: “love those the most who need it the most,” and “leave this place greater and more beautiful than we found it.” Pick one belief and describe how you envision carrying it out as a student at the Academy.
