Freshman Study Skills
1 Credit per semester (9578/9579)
During a typical class, 35 minutes are spent learning and practicing study skills curriculum. The remaining 35 minutes are left for students to work on their individual course work, applying skills learned in class, with assistance from staff as needed.

Prerequisite: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors
Students continue to be involved in learning and applying study skill concepts with an emphasis on their increased ability to acquire, customize, and effectively implement learning strategies. As in the Freshman Study Skills course, students are also provided with time to work on their individual course work, with assistance from staff as needed.
