Discover Advanced Placement at the Academy
Informal interaction among participants expands the learning opportunities. Life at the Institute provides ample opportunity to relax and enjoy the surroundings of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Some of the best biking and hiking trails are found in the area. Summer stock theater presentations abound!
Class ratios are small and permit time for one-on-one and small group interaction.
Workshops are structured to promote group interactions. At the end of each workshop, each participant should return with well developed and effective teaching materials.
Science labs permit hands on exploration where participants will be able to compare results, troubleshoot problems for students, and develop plans to integrate the labs into existing curricula.
