Mr. Fox is looking for six student volunteers for a special project this weekend....The Special Olympics of Vermont are conducting an "Athlete Leadership Program" this weekend with about 15 leader athletes from their program looking to partner and network with other student leaders and share ideas about the role of sports in life. They are focusing on teamwork development, policy development, the role of information technology for Special Olympians, and more. In addition to what will surely be stimulating conversation, there will be food, fun, and games. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your own leadership skills, broaden your horizons, and help make a difference in your peers' lives. This would be a great service weekend for students interested in sports, human services, student government, or simply an interest in learning more about the Special Olympics. The time commitment is 10am-5pm Saturday and 9am-3pm Sunday in the Black Box. To learn more or to register for this great learning and leadership opportunity, contact Mr. Fox at the Field House.
