"This Is What We Believe; Therefore, This Is What You Will See."

When we typically use the term "Golden Age", we are referring to an idyllic imaginary time of prosperity and happiness in our past. In this period in our history, people performed their skills and achieved success at peak levels, and most of the time, we only realize we have lived through a Golden Age once it has passed. However, the events that we celebrated in Fuller Hall last Monday provided too much evidence for us to ignore the fact that we are living in a Golden Age of Academy student performances.

Just So Stories Moves to One-Act Festival State Finals

 

SJA Theatre's rendition of Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling won the Regional One Act Festival and will move on to the state festival taking place April 5-6.

National Scholastic Art Awards

Sophomore Olivia Robinson's short story "Silence" won a National Gold Medal in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Senior Anzhelika Nastashchuk won a National Silver Medal for her photograph "The Culture". The Academy was the only school in Vermont from which two students won national medals.
