Martin Luther and Marie

My mother-in-law Marie Wigton died on January 3rd at the age of 96, and while the last five years of her life saw her mind ravaged by Alzheimer's, she lived a long and good life. A constant source of wisdom, when asked by one of her eight children which one was her favorite, she replied, "I just love the one the most who needs it the most." This saying has inspired me, Melissa Jenkins, and countless more through the years.

Students in Intro to Human Services and Human Services Professional Services 1 and 2 visited the State House to watch testimony in support of H550, a bill introduced by Representative Willhoit of St. Johnsbury and Representative Toll of Danville. The students were welcomed by the Lieutanant Governor and invited into his office, and Mr. Willhoit introduced the students in the House at the start of their session. They were asked by the Speaker of the House to stand in recognition and were applauded by the Representatives.

Students began the semester in Bret Bourgeois' class with clutch and engine rebuilds, tire changes, and inspections.

Congratulations to Cody Van Dine '21 (third), Tommy Zschau '21 (second) and Rian Fried '18 (first) for sweeping the podium at the Giant Slalom race at Smuggler's Notch.
