Loving One by One: Lessons from Mother Teresa

Over Labor Day Weekend, one of my long-time heroes became a saint. Mother Teresa of Calcutta has inspired me ever since I heard about her when I was in high school, and her official canonization by Pope Francis was simply formal recognition of what many have long thought. Her life in service of the poor was exemplary, and I have tried in my own way to follow her example. Much of what I believe it means to “love those the most who need it the most” comes from her example and teachings.
